Bring Windows into the session
On Windows 11, use the standalone Capture tab to gather playback across output devices. Select the receiving DAW, match the stream name and record in real time.
Pick a place to listen
The standalone Receive tab plays a plugin stream through your chosen speakers, headphones or interface. It matches the output sample rate and keeps the device clocks in step.
Your DAW, meet OBS
The included native Passalong source receives your stream in OBS. Match its name and sample rate to the sender, then let the session go on air.
Make the connection your own
Keep source audible plays through the sending track. At the receiver, Replace input or Mix with input sets how the stream joins the session. Multiple plugin receivers can share a named stream.

Plugin routing offers 64, 128 or 256 sample receive-buffer targets. Standalone capture and playback manage buffering automatically. Resize the interface to suit your screen.

Send from your DAW, add the Passalong source in OBS, and enter the matching stream name and sample rate.

Can I bring a Windows sound into my DAW?
Yes. Open standalone Capture on Windows 11, connect a named receiving plugin in your DAW, then select that DAW as the destination. Press Start capture and record in real time.
Where can the signal go?
Between supported apps on the same Windows computer, to OBS, or through a Windows audio output with standalone Receive. Same desk, surprisingly many destinations.
How do I keep one playback path?
Turn off Keep source audible in the sending plugin when listening through standalone Receive. Choose your speakers or interface under Audio output.
Which sample rate should I choose?
Use matching rates for plugin-to-plugin and OBS routing. Standalone Capture matches the destination DAW; standalone Receive matches the chosen output device.
